You are blessed with a brilliant, dynamic mind. It's sometimes hard to figure out what your focus should be. You're the type of person who does almost everything well. You are very competent but also unfocused. You're not an easy person to pin down. You are vibrantly complex. You have many facets to your personality, and they're often in competition with one another. |
Hurricanes defeat Avs, Ruutu gets helper!
0 comments Posted by Emma Kizer at Monday, February 23, 2009 Labels: hockeyI continue to follow the Carolina Hurricanes. I watched them on Friday but yesterday's game was not on TV.
Matt Cullen, one of my other favorite players, is really coming on. He had a hat trick which is scoring three goals all in one game. How cool is that? Matt is even one of the three stars on NHL.com today!
I am also liking Jussi Jokinen a lot, not just because he has a way cool name either! He's not the cutest but he's a really good player. Oh, and Chad Larose -- he's doing great too! Chad was one of the three stars of the game. Go Canes!

You are kind, caring, and empathetic. A lot of warm energy radiates from you. And it's not an act - you truly like people. You get a charge from people being around you. You are are easy going and very socially adaptable. You're willing to overlook peoples'quirks. You enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and helping them if you can. Giving makes you feel good. |
Happy happy Valentine's Day!
I wanted to take the time to let my Public know how much I care for them.

You are a gluttonous eater. You love to eat, and you will go for anything that's over the top. You love to eat a lot of foods. In fact, the toppings on your pizza are a full meal... without the pie! Pizza Topping You Should Try: Barbeque chicken Stay Away From: Any pizza that claims to be healthy or virtuous |
It's been a busy weekend. I am happy that the Hurricanes are back at home now. The west coast road trip resulted in a lot of missed treats. The Hurricanes scored seven, yes SEVEN goals against the Coyotes and I missed out on some of the third period ones -- including the one by Rutuu. I'd blame Dad but I fell asleep too.

Hurricanes defeat Sharks!
0 comments Posted by Emma Kizer at Friday, February 06, 2009 Labels: hockeyI fell asleep on Hannah's bed in the living room and missed the Hurricanes game last night. We all missed the game because it was a west coast game so no treats but I saw the my favorite player, Tuomo "Roo Roo" Rutuu, had a goal and I have to acknowledge that here -- especially since it was a shoot out goal. (tell Mom that I will accept belated treats).
Samsonov, Cullen and Whitney also scored. Cullen scored on a penalty shot which is always kind of neat.
P.S. I tried to watch Rutuu's goal on NHL.com because they keep on advertising that every single goal in the whole world is online there but I guess they don't count shootout goals. Boo.

Superbowl Sunday!

I am pulling for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Let's face it, Pittsburgh has way better food traditions than Phoenix. Pittsburgh is the home to Heinz ketchup, the Klondike bar, pierogies, my beloved Snyder's pretzels (which I love because Mom had them when she was at Shippensburg). Pittsburgh is also home to the Primanti Brother's sandwich which I am dying to try. Fries are right on the sandwich! To me, these are comfort foods. How could I not pull for the Steelers?
